Krista Shaw has been the Executive Director at the Club since 2007. After completing a double degree in Sociology and Anthropology from UPEI, she moved to Massachusetts for six years to work as a counsellor for children and youth with emotional, social and mental deficiencies at a residential treatment centre. Krista absolutely loves her job and makes it her goal to enrich the lives of as many children and youth as possible through positive programming in the community. No idea is too big or too small and she most enjoys working with the youth themselves, families and other community organizations to provide services and programming that are both needed and wanted. She is proud to call herself a farmer's wife and just recently had her first son Jack.
"Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for my job at The Boys & Girls Club. Each day brings new opportunities to build relationships and learn from those around you. I am truly fortunate to work for such a wonderful organization."
