Callen Cudmore is a fixture at the Boys & Girls Club of Charlottetown. After starting in the After School Program Callen has recently taken on the role of Programs Administrator. She does an excellent job supporting the team and ensuring that our programs run smoothly. Callen has always been a big reader and has taken a lead role of our literacy program, introducing new books and old classics to the kids. All of the kids know Callen for her sense of humor and joke loving nature. As one of our senior staff, Callen has built great long lasting relationships with many children.

As a long-time volunteer and staff member with the Boys and Girls Club, Chelsea knows her way around. She holds a B.A in Sociology and a B.Sc in Family Science from UPEI. In her spare time Chelsea volunteers for the Canadian Cancer Society and while at the club she enjoys playing various games with the kids and coming up with new and fun art projects. She is now excited to fill in the role of Events and Communications Coordinator and put some new skills to work!

Carly joined us in our After School Program in October of 2013 after moving to Charlottetown upon finishing her Bachelor of Arts at Mount Allison University in Sackville NB. Originally from Nova Scotia, Carly has a wide range of experience working with children and youth of all ages. She spent many years coaching skating and minor baseball even spending one summer coordinating a youth soccer league. Carly has worked for two years as a Program staff in the After School and Summer Programs as well as a Youth Worker in the evening drop-in program The Club. More recently Carly has taken on the role of Events Coordinator with the Boys & Girls Club of Charlottetown.
Christina volunteered for years at the Boys & Girls Club before signing on as a permanent staff member in 2013. Christina also works at The Club Drop-in Centre for youth each evening. Christina graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts from UPEI and most recently graduated from Lakehead University, in Thunder Bay, with a Honours Bachelor of Social Work. Christina loves coming up with new ways to engage with the children and youth and is always developing innovative strategies in this area.

Alex has been volunteering at the Boys & girls Club of Charlottetown for over two years and just recently joined the staff team of the 5-8 group. We are so thrilled to have Alex who is a student at UPEI pursuing either medical studies or social work (he hasn't quite decided yet). Alex loves the water and can't wait to spend summer days at the beach and by the pool with all our Summer Campers, and lucky for us Alex is a certified lifeguard!
Olivia joined The Boys and Girls Club staff in February 2017 and is working in the after school and summer programs. Olivia has over a year of experience working as a camp counselor in both a summer program as well as working casually at a family centre. She has also worked with young children in various ringette programs over the past 5 years. Olivia is currently attending UPEI, where she is working at obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree and plans to pursue a degree in social work in the future. Olivia has always loved spending time with children and is very excited to have the opportunity to work with the members of the Boys and Girls Club!
Vanessa started working at the Boys & Girls Club of Charlottetown in September 2015, but is no stranger when it comes to working with children. She has over a year of experience working as a youth educator at both an after-school, and summer program. Vanessa graduated from UPEI with her Bachelor of Arts. She majored in Sociology and also holds a minor in Diversity and Social Justices. Vanessa loves joking around with the children, and is also a huge fan of arts and crafts.

Kent started at the Boys and Girls Club in September 2015, joining the team in the after school program and the evening drop-in center. Kent moved to Charlottetown from Nova Scotia after completing a B.A in English at Mount Allison University.
In May of 2015, Kent received a Bachelor of Education from UPEI with a specialization in Indigenous Education. Kent has always been involved with youth from his background in teaching and coaching youth baseball. Kent also brings a wide variety of experience to both programs from his involvement with youth, teaching in local high schools and at an Indigenous school in North Bay Ontario. After spending last summer tutoring in a local program for elementary students, Kent is excited to be developing new programming with the Boys & Girls Club, he is currently coordinating the Jayscare program as well as a music program at both Montague and Charlottetown locations
Nikita comes to us with a background in Human Services and Child and Youth Care. She has tons of experience with youth programs in both day care and summer camp settings which makes her an excellent addition to our team. When she is not at the Club Nikita can be found spending time with her husband and two sons or facilitating a fitness class at 3rd Degree Training. Nikita's enthusiasm and positivity is contagious and she is an excellent addition to the team in Montague.
Ryan is beyond excited to join the Boys and Girls Club team! He has done other group work with children at GO!PEI, and is heavily involved in organizing, and playing, in local tournaments and events. Ryan is going to UPEI next year and hopes to pursue a career in medical studies or in biology. Ryan loves having fun, being outside, and joking around with children. He is big into sports and looks forward to spending the summer days outside having fun with the children in Montague!
